Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you use the Courtmanager tournament-management application ("the App"). Personal data is processed only in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

1. Controller

Taekwondo Team Zirl, ZVR 1905363223
Polling in Tirol 204, 6404 Polling in Tirol, Austria
Contact: WhatsApp +43 664 88465861 or alois.klingler@outlook.com, or by post at the address above.

2. What data we process

  • Login & session: a team, coach or administrator name and a password (stored only as a salted hash), plus a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you signed in.
  • Tournament data: names of athletes, coaches and teams, match/fight numbers, results, Poomsae entries and court assignments, entered by organizers and team representatives in order to run the event.
  • Push notifications (optional): if you enable notifications, we store your browser's push subscription (the endpoint URL and its cryptographic keys), your team and, optionally, a coach or athlete filter, so that match-call alerts can be sent. Messages are delivered through the push service of your browser or device vendor (for example Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft), which receives the endpoint in order to deliver the notification.
  • Server logs: when you access the App, technical data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser type are recorded automatically for operation, stability and security.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Providing the tournament service, schedules and results – Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
  • Login, session management and security – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure service).
  • Push notifications – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by disabling notifications).
  • Server logs – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable, secure operation).

4. Cookies

The App sets a single, strictly necessary session cookie to maintain your login. It is not used for tracking, profiling or advertising. No analytics or third-party advertising cookies are used.

5. Recipients and transfers

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Data is disclosed only where necessary to operate the service – in particular, push notifications are routed through your device's push service – or where we are legally required to do so. The App runs on server infrastructure operated for the association; any technical service providers involved act solely as processors on our behalf.

6. Retention and deletion

All personal data processed in the App is deleted completely once the tournament has ended. It is not archived, kept, reused or further processed afterwards, and it is not sold or passed on to any third party for their own purposes. Push subscriptions are removed when you disable notifications, when they expire, or at the latest when the tournament data is deleted. Server access logs are kept only briefly for security and are then deleted.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details in section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, www.dsb.gv.at).

8. Participants' data

Names and related tournament details may be entered by team representatives or organizers on behalf of participants. If you would like such data corrected or removed, please contact us.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or to legal requirements. The version published in the App at the time of your visit applies.
